Dreaming

How can you explain the feelings? I truly think that there are some things that cant be explained and this is what its happening to me with the moment that I’m living right now, since I was Little I dreamed about to see one day all those beautiful European landscapes that I use to watch on movies and I still love to see those types of movies in witch you can see the old Europe and wet to see them in real person all those thing that I watched thought the screen it’s the most exciting thing that exists and even if I tried to explain them I wont be able to describe a tiny piece of what it really feels. Certainly its a country soo soo different from México and for that I used to be so nervous and scared because it will never be the same to be here on vacations tan t olive here for a while but it has not been difficult as I imagined when I was on México, even thought I really wet surprised by the fact that even speaking the same language I’m having some issues understanding some of the things but everything has been excellent.

On this look I tried to be a Little bit Parisian and the truth is that this outfit it’s so comfy to use on a day where you are going to be walking all day long.

¿Going away?

There is a huge reason why I have been a Little bit distant on my social media, if you follow me on snapchat ( @thegolduchess ) you already know what I talking about but if you don’t I’ll tell you, since a few month ago I have been planning this new adventure that has been a Little bit complicated, stressful, joyful and a ton of more things and the thing is that in a couple of days I will be moving to……… SPAIN!!!! This is only for 6 month but I’m really so excited, sad, glad and a ton of feelings together but far away from just tell you that I’m going away I want to tell you 2 things, the first one is that you are going with me too, ¿how? I will be trying to snap everything that I can to show you everything and the second thing is to give you some advice to you for if you are going to have an Exchange or thinking in one, I tend to be a Little bit obsessive over things and this has help me in all of this but if you are not you can take it with more calm tan me. Instead of explaining everything I want to make it with points because I think is the best way to express myself.
There are a ton of steps you have to do before you apply for an exchange and going to it and here you can find some of them:

·      You have to be aware of the dates to apply for an Exchange on your university or school so you can deliver on time all the paperwork that they will ask you.
·      Check out in which city is the best school of that country that you want to go and see if your school has the covenant to do the Exchange.
·      Check out the study plan of that school and choose he subjects you like.
·      Print or get all the paperwork that your school will ask you.
·      HAVE COPIES OF EVERITHING!!! Some times ore many of them, the originals will be taken away from you so you have to have a backup.
·      Find out if the country that you want to go asks for a visa to enter the country and apply or if you’re going on vacation, how long can you stay as a tourist.
·      Search for scholarships that will help you with something.
·      Get a card that will certified you as a worldwide student, this way you’ll get a ton of discounts and you will save a lot of money.
·      Find out which bank is the most popular in that country and apply for one, HSBC has the larger number of Banks in the world so this is a good idea to have a card from that bank.
·      DO NOT CARRIE ANYTHING VALUABLE IN YOUR LUGGAGE!!!! Have all those things with you all time, bags are so easy to open even if you think you are safe because your luggage has a lock but you’re not and you can make the test by putting a pencil between the zipper and press, you’ll find out how easy is to get it open.
·      Every airline has different rules about the luggage that you can carry so make sure to investigate all about it.
·      Unfortunately as I told you before, luggage are so easy to open so to prevent you from been steal or in the worst case, that somebody puts something illegal on you luggage, make sure to wrap your luggage with plastic, I’m sure you can find a machine that does it on the airport.
·      You can search for an apartment but NEVER NERVER NEVER pay for it without seeing it first, my best advice is to stay in a hotel a few days and look for yourself those days.
·      Learn and reed about the country that you’ll be arriving because every single country has different culture and something that is normal to you could be offensive for them.
·      When you have arrived to your country destination go to your consulate and registered with them, so your country will know where you are.
·      Take thing from your country that you will miss but don’t take to many because the Exchange is about learning and tasting new things.
·      Check out that your cellphone is unlocked, this way you will be able to use buy a chip and use it.
·      Know before your arriving, the most important streets and avenues.
·      Before you travel, make sure that your Passport it in order and that you have more tan 6 months after you leave the country, otherwise the entry to it will be denied.
·      Take with you important documentation of identification with a ton of copies of them.

This are some of the things that I have learned with all this and even if I’m missing a few I think they are the most important, so even if you are having an Exchange or traveling just as a tourist this will help you as they have been for me.
